Arecibo signs Rashard Kelly, ex Spartans

Capitanes de Arecibo (BSN) signed 30-year old American power forward Rashard Kelly (203cm-102kg-1995, college: Wichita State, agency: SLN). He played this summer at Spartans in Venezuelan SPB league. In two games just recently he had 7.5ppg, 4.5rpg and 2.5apg. The last he played at Watts (B2 League) in Japanese league.
He is a very experienced player. Kelly has played in ten different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America). He has played professionally in Australia (JackJumpers), France (JDA Dijon and ADA Blois), Italy (Dolomiti Trentino), Japan, Lithuania (Wolves), Russia (Parma-Pari), Turkey (Gaziantep), Ukraine (Prometey), and The Basketball Tournament (Aftershocks).
Among many awards he won, Kelly was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish League Honorable Mention back in 2021. He also secured The Basketball Tournament championship title in 2025.
He graduated from Wichita State in 2018 and this will be his tenth season as a pro player.
