BSN Round 2 of Semi-Finals. Wins for Ponce and Bayamon

Ponce - Aguada 87-80:
The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Santeros won third quarter 28-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ponce made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The former international guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-1991) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American power forward Brady Manek (206-1998, college: UNC) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Dominican center Joel Soriano (211-2000, college: St.John's) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks and ex-international point guard Ivan Gandia-Rosa (185-1997, college: UNF) scored 18 points and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Santeros' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Bayamon - Caguas 106-83:
Vaqueros players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Criollos were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American-Filipino power forward Chris McCullough (208-1995, college: Syracuse) notched 22 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and American center Damian Jones (210-1995, college: Vanderbilt) supported him with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds by American center Moses Brown (218-1999, college: UCLA) did not help to save the game for Criollos. His fellow American import guard Jeff Early Jr (190-1988, college: SIU, agency: Paris Global Sports) added 15 points for the guests. Four Criollos players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
