Santeros dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Leones' 46. Santeros players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The winners were led by American-North Macedonian center Jacob Wiley (203-1994, college: EWU) who scored that evening 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Dominican Rigoberto Mendoza (191-1992) supported him with 20 points and 7 assists. Even 25 points and 5 assists by the former international guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-1991) did not help to save the game for Leones. International point guard Tjader Fernandez (178-1994) added 26 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Vaqueros dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Criollos' 36 and made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Vaqueros forced 22 Criollos turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 59.3 percentage. Vaqueros looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Criollos' players. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Stephen Thompson Jr (194-1997, college: Oregon St.) who helped to win the game recording 37 points (!!!) and 4 assists and Dominican swingman Jassel Perez (195-2001) who added 32 points, 6 assists and 6 steals (made all of his eight free throws) during the contest. At the losing side guard Christian Lopez (183-1995) responded with 14 points and American point guard Travis Trice II (183-1993, college: Michigan St.) scored 16 points. Four Criollos players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
