Gary Browne (ex Bayamon) agreed terms with Bosna

Gary Browne

Defending champion KK Bosna BH Telecom Sarajevo (Division I) strengthened their roster with the addition of 33-year-old American (who also has a Puerto Rican passport) 184cm point guard Gary Browne (college: WVU) for the upcoming season. He has played for the last two years at Vaqueros de Bayamon in the Puerto Rican BSN league. In 47 games he recently played, he recorded 10.1ppg, 3.9rpg, 6.4apg, and 1.2spg last season. He helped them win the league title despite ending the regular season in second place. It was a great year for him as he was voted to the Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican League Third Team.
Browne has also been a member of the Puerto Rican international program for several years. He has played for the Puerto Rican senior team since 2015 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2010.
Browne also represented Puerto Rico at the FIBA World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers three years ago. His team won Gold and he averaged 8 points per game.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career, he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Latin America, Australia, and of course North America) in five different countries. Browne has played professionally in Australia (Phoenix), Israel (Ironi Nes Ziona), Italy (Dolomiti Trentino), Puerto Rico (Atleticos, Mets, and Piratas), and Turkey (Darussafaka and Petkimspor).
He was selected to the Puerto Rican BSN All-Star Game in 2022.
Browne graduated from West Virginia University in 2015 and this will be his twelfth season in pro basketball.
