Zimmerman number one in Puerto Rico BSNF for week 10

American Forward Camille Zimmerman (185-F-1995) had a very impressive game in the last week for Pollitas de Isabela, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 10.
The 31-year old player had a double-double of 19 points and 18 rebounds, while her team outclassed Atenienses (#2, 8-2) with 27-point margin 85-58. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Pollitas is placed at 4th position in Puerto Rican BSNF. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Pollitas will need more victories to improve their 7-3 record. In the team's last game Zimmerman had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. She turned to be Pollitas' top player in her first season with the team. Former Columbia University star has very solid stats this year. Zimmerman is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 10.8rpg).

The second best player in last week's games was young American center Imani McGee-Stafford (201-C-1994) of Monarcas Juana Diaz. McGee-Stafford had a very good evening with a double-double of 26 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Monarcas lost that game 80-91 to the higher-ranked Criollas (#3, 8-3). This loss caused Monarcas to drop to 8th position in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-7 record. McGee-Stafford is a newcomer at Monarcas, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last week was American guard Dontavia Waggoner (183-G-2001) of Ganaderas de Hatillo (#10). Waggoner scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). Despite Waggoner's great performance the Ganaderas lost 59-61 to the higher-ranked Gigantes (#1, 8-2). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Ganaderas can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 1-9 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Waggoner has individually a great season in Puerto Rico. After 10 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.8ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 10.5rpg (4th best). Waggoner attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on her way to pro basketball.

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
