This is still too early stage of the Regular Season in BSN and we should expect many changes in upcoming rounds.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Capitanes (2-1) in Arecibo on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by Piratas (3-0) 111-94. The game was mostly controlled by Piratas. Capitanes managed to win fourth quarter 36-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Piratas shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Capitanes' players. It was a good game for American guard Gerald Fitch (191-82, college: Kentucky) who led his team to a victory with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. The former international Michael Rosario (190-90, college: Florida) contributed with 26 points and 5 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners. American center Cady Lalanne (208-92, college: Massachusetts) answered with 25 points and 7 rebounds for Capitanes. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Very important is a road loss of Fajardo (2-1) against Vaqueros (1-2) on Tuesday night. Visiting Fajardo was defeated by Vaqueros in a tough game in Bayamon 70-77. The best for the losing side was American center Shawn James (208-83, college: Northeastern) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Vaqueros will play against Atleticos (#5) in San German in the next round.
