Eddie Casiano was announced as the new head coach of Quebradillas for the 2019 and 2020 seasons. He replaces Carlos Gonzalez who left to coach in an academy located in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Casiano started his coaching career in 2009 with Mayaguez and has also coached Santurce and Aguada. In 2009 he was selected coach of the year and in 2012 won a championship with Mayaguez.

During the last two seasons he coached in Aguada. In 2017 he led them to a 25-11 record and this season he left after a 13-17 start.

Since 2016 he coaches the Puerto Rican National Team and has four games left in the Americas Qualifiers for the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup. The team has a 5-3 record and has key games against Uruguay, Panama and Argentina starting this November and ending in February of 2019.

The BSN tournament can reach the nine teams if the board of directors approves their return. Atleticos of San German ask for a dispense for the 2019 season in a board meeting in December. After a couple of weeks later a group appear and ask for an opportunity to manage the team and preventing that the historic franchise doesn't participate in the 2019 season. Ramon Clemente (ex Lenadores) agreed terms with San Lorenzo - 2 days ago
RAMON CLEMENTE Defending champion San Lorenzo de Almagra (La Liga) strengthened their roster with addition of 33-year old Puerto Rican international power forward Ramon Clemente (200-85, college: Wichita State). He has a double citizenship as he also holds American passport. Clemente played recently at Lenadores in Mexican LNBP.
