ALEXANDER ABREU

27-year old Puerto Rican international point guard Alexander Abreu (180-82kg-91, college: W.Georgia) left Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket (ProA). In 10 games in France he averaged 4.5ppg, 1.3rpg, 2.8apg and 1.1spg this season.
The last season Abreu played at Entente Orleans 45 (ProB) where in 31 games he had 11.8ppg, 1.6rpg, 6.5apg (leader !!!) and 1.7spg (in top 5). He helped them to make it to the cup final. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-French ProB Guard of the Year, selected to 1st Team and selected to All-Imports Team.
Abreu also represented Puerto Rico at the World Championships U19 in New Zealand nine years ago. His stats at that event were 9 games: 3.0ppg, 1.6rpg.
Abreu is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Abreu has played previously professionally in Dominican Rep., Mexico (Panteras), Venezuela (Guaros), Puerto Rico (Santeros) and Dominican Republic (Leones de Santo Domingo).
He attended State University of West Georgia until 2015 and it is his fourth season in pro basketball.
Abreu's game is described as: A versatile guard ... strong shooter and has tremendous feel for the game.
