EMANUEL UBILLA

Kaposvari KK (A Division) signed 32-year old American (has also Puerto Rican passport) point guard Emanuel Ubilla (188-86, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Court Side). It is actually his comeback to Kaposvar as he has played here before. Ubilla already started the season at GS Kymis in Greek A1 league, but left the team in Nov.'18. In four games he had 6.0ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.0apg this season. The last season Ubilla played at BK Ventspils (LBL) in league. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 34 LBL games he recorded 10.4ppg, 3.4rpg and 4.9apg (top 5). Ubilla helped them to win the league title. A very impressive season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Latvian League 2nd Team and All-Imports Team. Ubilla also played 2 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he averaged remarkable 17.0ppg, 5.0rpg, 4.0apg and 2.0spg. He also played 14 games in Basketball Champions League where he got 11.0ppg, 3.2rpg and 5.9apg.
Ubilla is quite experienced player. He has played in eight different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Ubilla has played previously professionally in Finland (Tapiolan Honka), Holland (Den Helder), Switzerland (Monthey), Hungary (Zalakeramia-ZTE KK), Slovakia (Inter Bratislava), Czech Republic (Novy Jicin and BK Kolin), Puerto Rico (Atleticos, Indios and Piratas) and APBL (Toms River S.).
He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University until 2008 and it is his eleventh (!!!) season as a professional player.

CHANE BEHANAN American Chane Behanan (198-F-92) had a great game in the last week for San German and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for week 4. BSN Round 4: Piratas edge Brujos by three points - 1 day ago
There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with favorites losing the games, games ending by tiny margin and even winless team recording their first victory. Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The most exciting game of round 4 in the BSN took place in Guayama. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 6th ranked Brujos (2-5) to first ranked Piratas (6-1) 89-86 on Thursday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. The g...   [read more]

David Huertas selected the top Puerto Rican playing abroad in last week's games - 2 days ago
We bring you last week's top performances from Puerto Ricans who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level. This week's number one is an international swingman David Huertas (195-87). He could not help Fuerza Regia (31-9) in their last game. Despite Huertas' very good performance the first-placed Fuerza Regia (31-9) was edged 85-84 on the road by the lower-ranked (#3) Lenadores in the North group.    [read more]
