Gary Browne
Gary Browne
#1. This week's number one is an international guard Gary Browne (185-93, college: WVU, currently plays in Israel). Browne led Ironi Nes-Ziona to a 2-point victory over the closely-ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (12-16) 100-98 in the Israeli Winner League last Monday. He was MVP of the game. Browne recorded 23 points, 4 rebounds and 9 assists. Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona (13-15) is placed sixth in the Winner League. Browne has relatively good stats this season: 14.8ppg, 5.3rpg, 5.0apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 43.6%, 3FGP: 40.3% and FT: 76.5%. He has a dual citizenship: Puerto Rican and American. Browne is currently a member of the Puerto Rican senior national team. He used to play for Coamo in Puerto Rican league.

Maurice Harkless
Maurice Harkless
#2. Second place goes to former international swingman Maurice Harkless (203-93, college: St.John's, currently plays in NBA). Harkless led Portland Trail Blazers to a victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder (49-33) 111-98 in the NBA on Sunday night. He had a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 10 rebounds. Harkless also added 3 blocks in 34 minutes. The Portland Trail Blazers have a solid 53-29 record this season. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Harkless' fourth year with the team. This season he has relatively solid stats: 7.9ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.2apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 57.8%(175-303), 3FGP: 26.9% and FT: 65.9% in 65 games he played so far. Harkless is another player who holds two passports: Puerto Rican and American. He played for the Puerto Rican national team in 2016. Strangely Harkless has never played in Puerto Rico.

Shabazz Napier
Shabazz Napier
#3. The Puerto Rican player who performed third best last week abroad was former international point guard Shabazz Napier (185-91, college: Connecticut, currently plays in NBA). He could not help the Brooklyn Nets (42-40) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite Napier's good performance the Brooklyn Nets (42-40) were crushed 122-100 on the road by the Philadelphia 76ers. He recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and making 10 passes. Napier also added 4 rebounds. Napier has reliable stats this season: 9.4ppg, 1.8rpg, 2.6apg, 2FGP: 45.5%, 3FGP: 33.9% and FT: 83.6%. He has both American and Puerto Rican nationalities. Napier played for the Puerto Rican national team three years ago. Apparently he has never played in Puerto Rico.

This year Clemente averages: 4.0ppg and 3.2rpg in 21 games. He also holds two passports: Puerto Rican and American. Clemente is also Puerto Rican national team player. He used to play for Indios de Mayaguez in Puerto Rican league.
