JUSTIN HARPER

Indios de Mayaguez (BSN) landed 29-year old American forward Justin Harper (208-102kg-89, college: Richmond). He played recently at South Bay Lakers (NBA G League) in the U.S. In 35 games he averaged 10.7ppg, 3.8rpg and 2.1apg this season. The last season Harper played at ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket (ProA) in French league where in 37 games he had 8.9ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.3apg. He also played 16 games in Eurocup where he recorded 9.7ppg and 2.8rpg.
In 2011 Harper was drafted by Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA) in second round (32nd overall). He attended University of Richmond and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements Harper won D-League Pacific Division championship title in 2017. He was selected to D-League All-Star Game in 2016 and 2017.
Harper is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. Harper has played previously professionally in Israel, Italy, Philippines (Global Port), NBA (Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets, Orlando Magic and Philadelphia 76ers) and France (SIG Strasbourg).
Let's have closer look into His outlook: Has excellent size for the power forward position. Above average athlete, as well, with decent quickness in the open floor and good explosiveness around the basket. Most effective spotting up around the perimeter, where he finds over a quarter of his possessions. Lightning quick release and a consistent, fluid shooting motion. Solid basketball IQ.
