San German to retire Eddie Casiano's Number

Atleticos of San German announce in their press conference that their season will be dedicated to former player of Atleticos, Eddie Casiano. Casiano played for the team from 1988 to 2000. He won championships in 1991, 1994 and 1997. They also will retire his number, #5. Casiano also played with Leones of Ponce and Indios of Mayaguez but in San German was his first team. Casiano is right now the coach of the Puerto Rico National Team.

San German will also retire the number of the former player, coach and owner, Armandito Torres. Armandito is a living legend in San German being responsible to continue the tradition of basketball in the team named by 'La Cuna'. San German will have their first local game on Tuesday 3.
