Puerto Rico wins gold in Centrobasket

Puerto Rico secured the gold medal at the 2021 Centrobasket Championship for Women after dominating El Salvador 75-33.

With this win Puerto Rico gets a 3-0 record -securing first place- and their final game is Saturday against Costa Rica.

Jada Stinson (173-G-99) led all scorers with 14 points and leads the team in that department during this tournament averaging 20.5 points per game.

Another great performer in this tournament is guard Pamela Rosado (165-PG-86) who averaged 18 points and 9.5 assists in three games.

Their next tournament is the 2021 AmeriCup to be played on June 11-19 in Puerto Rico. Three other teams from this Centrobasket will also qualify.
