Arecibo celebrated BSN title. They stormed past Guaynabo to win the series 4-2 and capture the trophy. Capitanes dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Mets' 36. It was a good game for naturalized U.S. Virgin Islands point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida) who led his team to a victory with 27 points and 5 assists. Mexican center Gustavo Ayon (207-85, college: SJSU) contributed with 9 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Panamanian forward Tony Bishop (201-89, college: Texas St., agency: 011 Sports) replied with 15 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Tyquan Rolon (192-95, college: LeMoyne) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Mets. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
