Joe Furstinger (ex Ternopil-TNEU) joins Mayaguez

Indios de Mayaguez (BSN) agreed terms with 26-year old American forward Joe Furstinger (208cm-104kg-1996, college: N.Mexico, agency: Mansfield and Associates) for new 2022 season. Furstinger just played at Ternopil-TNEU in Ukrainian Superleague. In 31 games he had 11.7ppg, 6.2rpg and 2.8apg last season. The last season he played at SKS Starogard Gdanski in Polish EBL where in 22 games he recorded 13.1ppg, 5.5rpg and 2.3apg.
He has played also professionally in Israel (Hapoel Beer Sheva), Poland (GTK) and North Macedonia (Gostivar).
Furstinger graduated from University of New Mexico in 2018 and it is his fourth season as a professional player.
