Prometey signs Gian Clavell, ex Santurce

SC Prometey Kamianske (Superleague) signed 28-year old Puerto Rican international guard Gian Clavell (193cm-84kg-1993, college: Colorado State, agency: Octagon Europe) for upcoming 2022-2023 season. Clavell plays this summer at Cangrejeros de Santurce in Puerto Rican BSN league. In 26 games he had 14.8ppg, 2.9rpg and 2.5apg. 2022-2022 was a great season as he was named to Puerto Rican BSN All-Star Game.
The most of last season he spent at Budivelnyk in Ukrainian Superleague where in 14 games he was the best scorer with impressive 26.4ppg and averaged 5.1rpg, 4.6apg and 1.4spg. He helped them to make it to the Supercup final. Clavell also spent pre-season at Promitheas (GBL) in Greek league. He has been regularly called to Puerto Rican Senior National Team since 2020.
Clavell is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Russia (Avtodor), Spain (Estudiantes), Turkey (Bursaspor and Sakarya Buyuksehir Basketbol), NBA (Dallas Mavericks and GS Warriors), NBA G League (Texas Legends) and NBA Summer League (Portland Trail Blazers).
Clavell graduated from Colorado State in 2017 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
