Carolina top Manati to earn BSNF title

Carolina - Manati 74-63

Carolina Gigantes conquered 2023 BSNF title. They overcame Manati in the decisive championship series game. Gigantes looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Teana Muldrow (188-1995, college: WVU) who had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds. The other American import guard Jill Townsend (180-1998, college: Gonzaga) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Rebecca Tobin (195-1988, college: Arizona St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and the former international point guard Kaela Hilaire (157-1998, college: Stony Brook) added 11 points, 7 assists and 6 steals respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
