Mikayla Pivec (ex Santurce) is a newcomer at Zaragoza

Mikayla Pivec

Casademont Zaragoza (LF Endesa) added to their roster 26-year old USA ex-international guard Mikayla Pivec (178cm-1997, college: Oregon State). She played last season at Cangrejeras de Santurce in Puerto Rican BSNF. In 16 games just recently she recorded 11.5ppg, 7.6rpg, 4.9apg and 1.3spg. Good season as she was named League Player of the Week. She also played for Lady Bandits (NBL One East) in Australian league.
Three years ago she was drafted by Atlanta Dream (WNBA) in third round (25th overall).
The former Oregon State star is in her fourth season in pro basketball.
She also represented USA at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) four years ago. Her team won Silver and her stats at that event were 5 games: 4.2ppg, 4.0rpg.
She is quite experienced player. Thanks to Pivec's pro career she managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Latin America, Australia and of course North America) in five different countries. She has played previously professionally in Australia, Turkey (Bursa), WNBA (Minnesota Lynx) and Spain (Cadi La Seu).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Pivec's team made it to the Spanish LF Endesa Semifinals in 2022. She was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSNF Honorable Mention in 2022.
