Manati inks India Pagan, ex Ostrava

India Pagan

Atenienses de Manati (BSNF) signed 25-year old Puerto Rican international forward India Pagan (185cm-1999, college: Stony Brook). She just played at SBS Ostrava in ZBL league in Czech Republic. She managed to play in three leagues last year. In 20 ZBL games she recorded very impressive stats: 16.6ppg, 8.8rpg and 1.9apg. She also played 2 games in Eurocup where she averaged 6.0ppg, 5.0rpg, 1.0apg and 1.0bpg. And finally she contributed to 4 games in EWBL where she got 7.3ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.8apg. The last season she played at BC Pharmaserv Marburg in German league.
She has been a member of the Puerto Rican international program for some years. She has regularly played for the Puerto Rican senior team since 2017 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2017.
She also repped Puerto Rico at the Olympic Games Pre-Qualifying Tournament in Medellin (Colombia) last year. Her stats at that event were 3 games: 3.7ppg, 3.3rpg.
Among many awards, her college team won the AEC Tournament in 2021. She was also named to the AEC All-Tournament Team back in 2019.

She graduated from Stony Brook University in 2022 and it's her second season as a pro player. She also played for High School for 2 years.
