Malian power forward Cheick Diallo (206-C/F-1996, college: Kansas) was the second best scorer of the day in the world yesterday with the 33 points he had in the Puerto Rican league. Diallo graduated from University of Kansas in 2016. His team the Osos edged the Capitanes 89 to 87. On top of that he also recorded 6 rebounds that evening. He is familiar with European Asian Latin American and of course North American leagues. Among many awards his team made it to the NBA G League Winter Showcase Cup Final Four in 2022. Diallo was selected to the Latinbasket All-Puerto Rican BSN First Team in 2022. He was also selected to the Latinbasket Puerto Rican BSN All-Imports Team in 2022. Diallo was selected as the Asia-Basket All-Japanese B League Honorable Mention in 2023.
