Santurce keeps Vargas-Reyes for another season

Nairimar Vargas-Reyes

Cangrejeras de Santurce (BSNF) re-signed 24-year-old international 183cm forward Nairimar Vargas-Reyes (college: Stony Brook). She played there last season.
Vargas-Reyes has also been a member of the Puerto Rican international program for some years. She has regularly played for the Puerto Rican senior team since 2022 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2017.
Vargas-Reyes also represented Puerto Rico at the FIBA World Cup for Women in Sydney (Australia) two years ago. Vargas-Reyes' team won Silver and she had over 4 ppg.
She graduated from Stony Brook University in 2023 and it will be her second season in pro basketball. Vargas-Reyes played also for Florida Southwestern State College for 2 years.
