Santurce and Explosivas de Moca clinched wins at the start of BSNB 2024. Santurce overcame Pollitas de Isabela 80-73. Shae Kelley (185-F-1991, college: Minnesota) stepped up with 21 points and Kamaria McDaniel (178-G-1999, college: Michigan St.) had 16. Ariana Moorer (172-G-1991, college: Virginia) replied with 26 points in the losing effort.
Explosivas de Moca meanwhile edged Gigantes de Carolina 79-77. Alexis Jennings (190-F-1996, college: S.Carolina) led the way with 26 points and 10 rebounds, whilst Leigha Brown (185-G-2000, college: Michigan) poured in 18. Teana Muldrow (188-F-1995, college: WVU) ended up with 25 points in a loss.
