The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Montaneras (6-4) in Morovis on Thursday night. Hosts were edged by Cangrejeras (6-0) 67-64. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Montaneras. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Santurce made 8 blocks. It was a good game for international guard Brianna Jones (177-1997, college: Georgetown) who led her team to a victory with 17 points and 8 rebounds.
