Edwards number one in Puerto Rico BSNF for week 10

American Forward Dre'Una Edwards (183-F) had a very impressive game in the last week for second-ranked Atenienses de Manati, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 10.
The player was the main contributor (33 points, nine rebounds and five assists) to her team's victory, helping them to outclass Isabela (#6, 4-6) with 27-point margin 106-79. Atenienses is placed at 2nd position in Puerto Rican BSNF. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Manati will need more victories to improve their 6-4 record. In the team's last game Edwards had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. She turned to be Atenienses's top player in her first season with the team. Former Baylor University star has very solid stats this year. Edwards is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 9.0rpg) and averages impressive 1.3bpg and 60.0% FGP.

The second best player in last week's games was young American Teana Muldrow (188-F-1995) of Gigantes de Carolina. Muldrow had a very good evening with a double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds. It was enough for Gigantes to edge the lower-ranked Hatillo (#9, 1-8) 78-73. Carolina's 4th position in the standings has not changed. Her team's 5-3 record is not bad at all. Muldrow is well-known at Carolina and is a proven leader in her second season with the team. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.8ppg (#3). She also registered 9.3 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last week was another Manati's star - American swingman Kaitlyn Davis (188-G/F-2001). Davis showcased her all-around game by recording 22 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists in the last week. She was another key player of Atenienses de Manati, helping her team with a 106-79 easy win against the lower-ranked Isabela (#6, 4-6). Atenienses needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 4 lost games. Davis has a very solid season. In 10 games in Puerto Rico she scored 10.7ppg. She also has 7.2rpg and a FGP of 75.8%.
