An interesting game for Cangrejeras (10-0) which hosted in Santurce 4th ranked Gigantes (5-5). Top-ranked Cangrejeras managed to get a 5-point victory 75-70. Santurce made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Santurce outrebounded Carolina 42-31 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American forward Shae Kelley (185-1991, college: Minnesota) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. The other American import guard Kamaria McDaniel (178-1999, college: Michigan St.) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Cangrejeras' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Teana Muldrow (188-1995, college: WVU) replied with 21 points and 7 rebounds for Carolina. Undefeated Cangrejeras have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Santurce maintains first position with 10-0 record. Defending champion Carolina dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. Santurce are looking forward to face Moca (#4) on the road in the next round. Carolina will play against Lares and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Kristen Spolyar (178-1997, college: Butler) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 6 assists and Okako Adika who added 14 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Mikayla Pivec (178-1997, college: Oregon St.) with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Hatillo maintains ninth position with 2-8 record. Isabela lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Lares. Hatillo will play against higher ranked San German (#8) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Isabela will play against Morovis and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in San German was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Moca (6-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Athleticas (3-8). Moca defeated Athleticas 74-64 on Thursday. The winners were led by Asia Taylor who had that evening a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. Even a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds by Akilah Bethel did not help to save the game for San German. Moca moved-up to fourth place. San German at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. Moca will meet at home league's leader Santurce in the next round and it may be the game of the week. San German will play against Hatillo (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
In the last two games of round 12 Moca was beaten by Morovis on the road 87-80. Manati won against Lares on its own court 76-62.
