American Forward Dre'Una Edwards (183-F) put on an amazing game in the last week for second-ranked Atenienses de Manati and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 12.
She had a double-double of 23 points and 16 rebounds, while her team beat Lares (#7, 4-7) 76-62. Atenienses is placed at 2nd position in Puerto Rican BSNF. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Manati will need more victories to improve their 7-4 record. In the team's last game Edwards had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range. She turned to be Atenienses's top player in her first season with the team. Baylor University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Edwards is in league's top in points (7th best: 18.9ppg), rebounds (7th best: 9.7rpg) and averages solid 1.8bpg and 60.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last week was Alexis Jennings (190-F-1996) of Explosivos de Moca. She is American forward in her 3rd season at Moca. In the last game Jennings recorded an impressive 26 points and 6 rebounds. Bad luck as Moca lost that game 80-87 to slightly higher-ranked Morovis (#3, 7-4). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Moca still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. Her team's 7-5 record is not bad at all. Jennings is one of the most experienced players at Moca and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.8ppg (#1). She also registered 10.9 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Chelsea Mitchell (175-G-1997, agency: LBM Management) of Montaneras de Morovis (#3). Mitchell showcased her all-around game by recording 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the last week. She was a key player of Montaneras, leading her team to a 87-80 win against #4 ranked Moca. Morovis needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 4 lost games. Mitchell has a great season in Puerto Rico. After 11 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.7ppg (8th best). She also has 2.8spg and a FGP of 51.5%.
