Liaoning Henye (WCBA) signed 24-year old Puerto Rican international forward Mya Hollingshed (190cm-1999, college: Colorado) for upcoming 2024-25 season. She played last season at Dinamo Sassari in Italian Serie A1. In 24 games she had 11.9ppg, 5.7rpg, 2.0apg and 1.0spg. She helped them to make it to the Supercup semifinals. Hollingshed also played 10 games in Eurocup where she recorded 12.2ppg, 7.8rpg, 2.9apg, 1.2spg and 1.3bpg.
The previous (2022-23) season she played at Dynamo Novosibirsk Region in Russian league.
Two years ago she was drafted by Las Vegas Aces (WNBA) in first round (8th overall).
The former University of Colorado star is in her third season in pro basketball.
She also represented Puerto Rico at the FIBA Olympic Games in Paris (France) this year. During this event she scored an average of 7.7 points per game and had 8.7 rebounds per game.
Among many awards Hollingshed's team made it to the Pac-12 Tournament Semifinals in 2022. Hollingshed was voted to Eurobasket.com All-FIBA World Cup Honorable Mention in 2022.
