San German adds Barton to their roster, ex Guangdong ST

Will Barton

Atleticos de San German (BSN) added to their roster experienced 34-year old American shooting guard Will Barton (198cm-82kg-1991, college: Memphis). He played last season at Guangdong Southern Tigers in Chinese CBA league. In 9 games he recorded 13.2ppg, 4.7rpg and 4.9apg. The last season summer he played at Cangrejeros.
In 2012 he was drafted by Portland Trail Blazers (NBA) in second round (40th overall). He graduated from University of Memphis and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
Barton is quite experienced player. Thanks to Barton's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in five different countries. He has played previously professionally in Russia (PBC CSKA Moscow), Spain (Coviran Granada), NBA (Denver Nuggets, Washington Wizards and Toronto Raptors) and NBA G League (SLC Stars).
His team made it to the NBA Semifinals in 2020.
