Dominican shooting guard Victor Liz (190-SG-1986) was the top scorer of the day in the world with the 35 points he had in the Puerto Rican league. His excellent performance made his team the Capitanes beat the Leones 99 to 82. He also grabbed 8 rebounds and got 9 assists that game. Liz is the 5th best scorer in the league averaging over 19 points and almost 5 rebounds per game. 5 out of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges.
