Argentina U16 successfully opened FIBA U16 Women’s AmeriCup campaign. They overcame Puerto Rico U16 73-50 in Inforum, Mexico.
Argentina U16 started with a 22-17 run and exploded with a massive 18-5 surge. Moreover, they posted two narrow wins in the second half for the first win.
Francisca Canello (182-F/C-2009) top-scored for the winners with 15 points, whilst Florencia Losada and Isabella Roldan (185-C-2009) netted 12 each. Valeria Medina replied with 16 points in the losing effort.
