Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona (Winner League) signed 23-year-old Puerto Rican guard Andre Curbelo (183cm-76kg-2001, college: Southern Miss) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He played last season with Atleticos de San German in the Puerto Rican BSN league. In 34 games, he averaged 12.6ppg, 4.3rpg, and 5.9apg.
He just graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with averages of 9.8ppg, 3.6rpg, 4.7apg, and 1.9spg. It will be his first season as a pro.
Curbelo represented Puerto Rico at the Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador (El Salvador) two years ago. He played for other colleges like St. John's University and the University of Illinois.
