The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Moca (8-3) on the court of fifth ranked Caguas on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Caguas 80-79. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Moca. American players dominated the game. Guard Amanda Paschal (172-1996, college: Kentucky) contributed with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Guard Leigha Brown (185-2000, college: Michigan) replied with 17 points and 8 assists for Moca. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Eighth-ranked Atenienses (3-5) were very close to win a game against first ranked Moca (8-3). Moca managed to secure only one-point victory 99-98. However their fans expected much easier game.
