Ortiz comes back to Brumas, ex Carolina

Evander Ortiz

Brumas de Jinotega (TBN) added to their roster 28-year-old Puerto Rican point guard Evander Ortiz (180cm-1997, college: PR-Bayamon). It is actually his comeback to Jinotega as he has played here before. He played this summer at Gigantes de Carolina in Puerto Rican BSN league. He has played there for the last five years.
Ortiz has also played professionally with the Vaqueros.
His team finished as the regular season runner-up in Puerto Rican BSN Group B in 2024. He was voted to the Nicaraguan LSB All-Star Game in 2019.
Ortiz graduated from the University of Puerto Rico Bayamon in 2019, and it will be his eighth season as a pro player.
