Elitzur Holon (D1) landed 25-year old Puerto Rican international 190cm forward Mya Hollingshed (college: Colorado) for new season. Hollingshed played most recently at Bodrum Basketbol in Turkish TKBL. In 5 KBSL games she averaged 16.0ppg, 6.0rpg and 2.0apg last season. She also played for Liaoning Hengye in Chinese WCBA where in 14 games she had 6.1ppg and 3.7rpg.
Three years ago she was drafted by Las Vegas Aces (WNBA) in first round (8th overall).
The former University of Colorado star is in her fourth season in pro basketball.
Hollingshed also represented Puerto Rico at the FIBA Olympic Games in Paris (France) last year. Her stats at that event were 3 games: 7.7ppg, RPG-5(8.7), 1.3apg, FGP: 17.6%, 3PT: 20.0%, FT: 66.7%.
She has played previously professionally in Italy (Sassari) and Russia (Dynamo Novosibirsk Region). Hollingshed was also voted to WBCA NCAA Division I All-Americans Honorable Mention back in 2021 and 2022.
Her team made it to the Pac-12 Tournament Semifinals in 2022.
