Nick Rakocevic (ex Aguada) signs at Adelaide

Nick Rakocevic

Adelaide 36ers (NBL) landed 27-year old American (has also Serbian passport) 211cm power forward Nick Rakocevic (college: USC, agency: Slash Sports) for new season. Rakocevic played this summer at Santeros de Aguada in Puerto Rican BSN league. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 5 BSN games just recently he averaged 9.0ppg, 8.0rpg and 1.4apg. Rakocevic also played for Capitanes (BSN) where in 5 games he had 9.0ppg, 8.0rpg, 1.4apg and 1.2spg. The other team he played shortly was Santeros (BSN). In 5 games he recorded 9.0ppg, 8.0rpg and 1.4apg.
He was a member of Serbian U20 National Team back in 2017.
And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life on three different continents. Rakocevic is familiar with Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in China (Golden Bulls, Rockets and Jilin Tigers), Lebanon (Sagesse) and Philippines (Hotshots).
Among many awards his team won Chinese League Regular Season in 2023. Rakocevic was also voted to Asia-Basket.com All-PBA Commissioner's Cup Center of the Year in 2023.
He graduated from University of Southern California in 2020 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
