Jase Febres (ex Aguada) joins CS Municipal Ploiesti

Jase Febres

CS Municipal Ploiesti (Liga Nationala) has agreed terms with 26-year-old Puerto Rican-American ex-international guard Jase Febres (196cm-88kg-1999, college: Texas). He was the second-best scorer at Santeros de Aguada in the Puerto Rican BSN league last season, where in 10 games he averaged 3.5ppg and 2.1rpg. During the last season, he played at Stjarnan in the Icelandic Subway League, where in 36 games he recorded impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 7.9rpg, 1.6apg, 1.1spg, and 1.1bpg. He helped them win the league title, despite finishing the regular season in second place. He was named to the Eurobasket.com All-Icelandic League Third Team, making it a quite impressive year for him.
Febres also represented Puerto Rico at the Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador (El Salvador) 2 years ago.
His career allowed him to visit three different continents. He tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America, and of course North America. Febres has played professionally also in Iceland and Mexico (Soles).
He graduated from the University of Texas in 2022, and it'll be his fourth season as a pro player.
