Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The game between second ranked Pollitas (8-5) and fifth ranked Atenienses (7-6) was the most important one in the last round on Wednesday night. Pollitas were defeated by Atenienses in Manati 84-68. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Pollitas. Manati looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Chelsea Mitchell (175-1997, college: Morgan St., agency: LBM Management) who scored 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international point guard Kaela Hilaire (157-1998, college: Stony Brook) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. American swingman Quionche Carter (183, college: FGCU) produced 17 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Pollitas' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Atenienses have a solid series of three victories in a row. Manati maintains fifth place with 7-6 record. Isabela at the other side dropped to the third position with five games lost. Manati are looking forward to face Monarcas (#7) in Juana Diaz in the next round. Isabela will play against Hatillo (#6) and is hoping to win this game.
Leader Cangrejeras delivered the eleventh victory. This time they beat 9th ranked Leonas (4-10) 78-69 in Santurce. American forward Shae Kelley (185-1991, college: Minnesota) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Dayshalee Salaman contributed with 13 points and 9 assists for the winners. Cangrejeras' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Talia von Oelhoffen (180-2002, college: USC, agency: Next Page Sports) answered with 24 points and 7 rebounds for Leonas. Cangrejeras (11-3) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place. Newly promoted Leonas keep the ninth position with ten games lost. Santurce will play against Carolina (#4) at home in the next round. Leonas will have a break next round.
The game in was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Gigantes (8-6) played at the court of 6th ranked Hatillo (6-7). Gigantes managed to secure a 5-point victory 57-52 on Thursday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hatillo. Teana Muldrow stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. McKenzie Forbes responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Hatillo's coach tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Carolina moved-up to fourth place. Loser Hatillo keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with Monarcas. Carolina will meet league's leader Santurce on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hatillo will play against Isabela (#3) and hope to secure a win.

In the last game of round 17 Monarcas were crushed by Moca in a road game 73-51.

Moca - Monarcas 73-51

There was no surprise when 6th ranked Monarcas (6-7) were crushed on the road by third ranked Moca (9-5) 73-51 on Wednesday. American guard Leigha Brown (185-2000, college: Michigan) stepped up and scored 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and chipped in 13 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Four Moca players scored in double figures. American forward Tess Amundsen (185-1999, college: CSUN) responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import center Imani McGee-Stafford (201-1994, college: Texas) scored 6 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Moca moved-up to second place. Newly promoted Monarcas keep the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with Hatillo. Moca will meet bottom-ranked Yauco (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Monarcas will play against Manati (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
