Fuehring's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

28-year old American center Samantha Fuehring (191-C-1997) put on an extraordinary performance in the last week for second-ranked Explosivos de Moca and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 18.
She had a double-double of 28 points and 13 rebounds, while her team beat Yauco (#10, 3-12) 85-70. Moca maintains the 2nd position in Puerto Rican BSNF. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Moca will need more victories to improve their 11-5 record. In the team's last game Fuehring had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 9 attempts. She turned to be Moca's top player in her first season with the team. University of Louisville graduate has very impressive stats this year. Fuehring is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 9.9rpg) and averages solid 42.4% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last week was Kiyana McGill-Jefferson (185-G-2001) of Atenienses de Manati. She is American guard in her first season at Manati. In the last game McGill-Jefferson recorded an impressive double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds. Of course she led Atenienses to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Monarcas (#7, 6-9) 91-68. This victory allowed Manati to move up to 3rd position in the standings. Her team's 9-6 record is not bad at all. McGill-Jefferson is a newcomer at Manati and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Kamaria McDaniel (178-G-1999) of league's leader Cangrejeras de Santurce. McDaniel showcased her all-around game by recording 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the last week. She was a key player of Cangrejeras, leading her team to a 86-83 win against the lower-ranked Carolina (#5, 8-7). Santurce confirms their top position in the standings. McDaniel has a very solid season. In 15 games in Puerto Rico she scored 13.5ppg.

9. Kaela Hilaire (157-PG-1998) of Manati - 18 points and 5 assists
10. Rebecca Tobin (195-C/F-1988) of Santurce - 14 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
