Adika number one in Puerto Rico BSNF for week 22

Danish Swingman Okako Adika (183-G/F-1996) put on an amazing game in the last week for Ganaderas de Hatillo, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 22.
The 29-year old player had a double-double of 33 points and 10 rebounds, while her team crushed Yauco (#10, 3-14) with 18-point margin 83-65. Thanks to this victory Hatillo moved-up to the 7th position in Puerto Rican BSNF. Hatillo is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-10 record. In the team's last game Adika had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. It's her second year at Hatillo and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Okako Adika averages this season 15.4ppg and 7.8rpg.

The second best player in last week's games was American Quionche Carter (183-G/F) of Pollitas de Isabela. Carter had a very good evening with a double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds. It was enough for Pollitas to edge slightly lower-ranked Manati (#4, 10-7) 65-59. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Isabela consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. Her team's 11-6 record is not bad at all. Carter is a newcomer at Isabela, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.3ppg (#8). Her other stats are also decent: 8.2rpg and 4.6apg.

Third on the list of top players last week was American forward Asia Taylor (188-F-1991) of Criollas de Caguas (#6). Taylor showcased her all-around game by recording 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the last week. She was a key player of Caguas, leading her team to a 71-65 win against slightly lower-ranked Hatillo (#7, 7-10). Taylor has a great season in Puerto Rico. After only 9 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.1ppg (best scorer).

9. Kaelynn Satterfield (183-G/F-2001) of Isabela - 16 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Brianna Jones (177-G-1997) of Santurce - 20 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
