The game in was quite interesting. Third ranked Pollitas (12-6) played at the court of 7th ranked Hatillo (7-11). Pollitas did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 73-55 on Tuesday. The best player for the winners was American swingman Quionche Carter (183, college: FGCU) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Her fellow American import guard Lasha Petree (183, college: Purdue) chipped in 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Danish swingman Okako Adika (183-1996, college: USC) produced 14 points for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pollitas have a solid series of three victories in a row. Isabela maintains third place with 12-6 record having just two points less than leader Santurce. Hatillo at the other side keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Monarcas.
