There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in BSNF. What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The game in was quite interesting. Third ranked Pollitas (12-6) played at the court of 7th ranked Hatillo (7-11). Pollitas did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 73-55 on Tuesday. The best player for the winners was American swingman Quionche Carter (183, college: FGCU) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Her fellow American import guard Lasha Petree (183, college: Purdue) chipped in 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Danish swingman Okako Adika (183-1996, college: USC) produced 14 points for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pollitas have a solid series of three victories in a row. Isabela maintains third place with 12-6 record having just two points less than leader Santurce. Hatillo at the other side keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Monarcas.
The game with biggest result difference took place in . Local Yauco (3-14) was outscored by sixth ranked Caguas (8-9) 88-62. The game was dominated by American players. Center Kai James (196-1995, college: FSU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Amanda Paschal contributed with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Power forward Sidney Cooks (193-1998, college: Seton Hall) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds for Yauco. Caguas have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Caguas maintains sixth place with 8-9 record. Yauco lost eleventh consecutive game. Yauco at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Caguas will play against Leonas (#9) in Ponce in the next round. Yauco will play at home against Manati and hopes to get back on the winning track.

In the last game of round 23 Moca defeated Leonas in a road game 94-82.

Yauco - Caguas 62-88

Local Yauco (3-14) was outscored by sixth ranked Caguas (8-9) 88-62. Caguas dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Yauco's 28. They outrebounded Yauco 52-30 including a 39-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Caguas players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Center Kai James (196-1995, college: FSU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Amanda Paschal (172-1996, college: Kentucky) contributed with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Paschal is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Caguas players scored in double figures. Power forward Sidney Cooks (193-1998, college: Seton Hall) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and forward Asia Strong (188-2000, college: Syracuse) added 7 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Yauco. Caguas have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Caguas maintains sixth place with 8-9 record. Yauco lost eleventh consecutive game. Yauco at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Caguas will play against Leonas (#9) in Ponce in the next round. Yauco will play at home against Manati and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Leonas - Moca 82-94

There was no surprise in Ponce where 9th ranked Leonas (4-13) were defeated by second ranked Moca (13-5) 94-82. Moca players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. The game was also dominated by American players. Center Samantha Fuehring (191-1997, college: Louisville) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Leigha Brown (185-2000, college: Michigan) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Center Shelby Cheslek (196-1992, college: Gonzaga, agency: LBM Management) answered with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Talia von Oelhoffen (180-2002, college: USC, agency: Next Page Sports) added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Leonas. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Leonas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Moca have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 13-5 record behind leader Santurce. Leonas lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the ninth position with 13 games lost. Moca will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Leonas will play at home against Caguas (#6) and hope to get back on the winning track.
