Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Caguas (8-10) and Leonas (5-13), which took place in Ponce. 6th ranked Caguas were outleveled in a road game by ninth ranked Leonas 94-74 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Caguas. They outrebounded Caguas 44-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. Leonas looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for who led her team to a victory with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Talia von Oelhoffen (180-2002, college: USC, agency: Next Page Sports) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. The former international point guard Kaela Hilaire (157-1998, college: Stony Brook) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for Caguas. Newly promoted Leonas maintains ninth position with 5-13 record. Caguas at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keep the sixth place with ten games lost.

In the last game of round 24 Manati beat Yauco on the road 94-83.

Yauco - Manati 83-94

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Atenienses (11-7) beat on the road bottom-ranked Yauco (3-15) 94-83 on Wednesday. Manati looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. It was a good game for the former international point guard Kaela Hilaire (157-1998, college: Stony Brook) who led her team to a victory with 19 points and 9 assists. The former international forward India Pagan (185-1999, college: Stony Brook) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Atenienses' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international guard Zaida Gonzalez (175-2003, college: Stony Brook) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and American power forward Sidney Cooks (193-1998, college: Seton Hall) added 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Yauco. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Manati maintains fourth position with 11-7 record. Yauco lost twelfth consecutive game.
