E.Ramla adds Guirantes to their roster

Arella Guirantes

Elitzur Ramla (D1) added to their roster 28-year old American (has also Puerto Rican passport) shooting guard Arella Guirantes (181cm-1997, college: Rutgers). She was assist leader at Shanghai Baoshan Dahua Swordfish in Chinese WCBA last season where in 20 games she recorded very impressive stats: 17.8ppg, 6.4rpg, 4.1apg and 1.4spg. A very spectacular season in her career as she was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese WCBA Second Team. She also played for Perfumerias Avenida Salamanca in Spanish league. Guirantes also played 11 games in Spanish LF Endesa where she averaged 9.6ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.6apg. She helped them to make it to the Supercup semifinals.
In 2021 she was drafted by Los Angeles Sparks (WNBA) in second round (22nd overall).
The former Rutgers University standout is in her fifth season in pro basketball.
Guirantes is quite experienced player. She has played also professionally in Hungary (Miskolc), Italy (Schio), Spain, Ukraine (Budivelnyk) and WNBA (LA Sparks and Seattle Storm).
Among many awards Guirantes' team won Italian Cup in 2024. Guirantes was selected to Eurobasket.com All-FIBA Olympic Games Honorable Mention in 2024. She played also for Texas Tech University for one year.
