KK Bosna Meridianbet Sarajevo lands Alfonso Plummer

Alfonso Plummer

KK Bosna Meridianbet Sarajevo (Division I) has signed 28-year-old Puerto Rican international 185cm shooting guard Alfonso Plummer (college: Illinois). Plummer had started the season at BAXI Manresa in the Spanish Liga Endesa, averaging 9.0ppg in 6 games. He also played 6 games in Eurocup, putting up 14.8ppg, 2.8rpg, and 1.8apg. Last season, he played for ratiopharm Ulm in the German BBL, where he played 44 games and averaged 10.0ppg, 1.2rpg, and 1.0apg. Plummer has been a regular member of the Puerto Rican Senior National Team since 2022.
Plummer is a very experienced player, thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American, and of course North American leagues. Plummer has played professionally in France (Paris Basket), Germany, Puerto Rico (Capitanes and Cangrejeros), Spain, and NBA G League (Capitanes de Ciudad de Mexico). His team won the German League Regular Season in 2025.
Among many awards he received, he won the Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Most Improved Player of the Year award and Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Domestic Player of the Year award in 2024.
He graduated from the University of Illinois in 2022 and it's his fourth season in pro basketball. Plummer played for other colleges such as the University of Utah and Arizona Western College.
