33-year-old USA-Puerto Rican 188cm shooting guard Kyle Vinales (college: CCSU) left NKA Universitas Pecs (A Division). In 5 games in Hungary, he averaged an impressive 18.2ppg, 1.4rpg, 5.4apg, and 2.0spg this season.
Part of last season he spent at Al Ittihad Alexandria (Superleague) in the Egyptian league. He also played for another Egyptian team, Al Zamalek Cairo (Superleague), during the Egyptian league.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to pro basketball, he experienced life in twelve different countries playing on four different continents. Vinales is familiar with European, Latin American, African, and of course North American leagues. He has played professionally in Cyprus (AEK Larnaca), Estonia (Kalev/Cramo), France (Sluc Nancy), Lithuania (Lietkabelis), Montenegro (Derby), Poland (Legionisci), Puerto Rico (Cariduros, Santeros, Brujos, Cangrejeros, and Mets), Russia (Avtodor), Tunisia, Turkey (Erokspor), Dominican Republic (Leones), and The Basketball Tournament (Money Team, House of 'Paign, and Friday Beers).
He played in the final of the Egyptian League in 2025. Vinales was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Polish League Honorable Mention in 2023.
He graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2015 and it's his 11th season in pro basketball.
