Harrison number one in Puerto Rico BSN for week 7 (by Hoops Agents)

New Zealand Center Tyrell Harrison (214-C-1999) put on an amazing game in the last week for Indios de Mayaguez, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 7.
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 33 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat San German (#2, 7-3) 100-90. Indios is placed at 4th position in Puerto Rican BSN. Mayaguez is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-5 record. In the team's last game Harrison had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Indios, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Tyrell Harrison averages just after three games 27.0ppg and 12.0rpg.

The second best player in last week's games was young Dominican Rep. Victor Liz (190-G/F-1986) of Piratas de Quebradillas. Liz had a very good evening with 36 points and 6 rebounds. Bad luck as Piratas lost that game 106-114 to slightly higher-ranked Mayaguez (#4, 4-5). Quebradillas managed to keep the same 6th spot in Group A. 11 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Liz is one of the most experienced players at Quebradillas and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last week was American forward Nick Perkins (203-F/C-1996) of league's second-best Atleticos de San German. Perkins showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists in the last week. He was a key player of Atleticos, leading his team to a 99-89 win against the lower-ranked Ponce (#5, 4-8). San German needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in Group A. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 3 lost games. Perkins has a very solid season. In 10 games in Puerto Rico he scored 17.1ppg. He also has 5.6rpg and a FGP of 59.0%.

8. Nathan Sobey (190-G-1990) of Mayaguez - 31 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists
9. Alex Hamilton (193-PG-1993) of San German - 21 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists
10. Terence Davis (193-G-1997) of Ponce - 24 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists
