Harrell's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

31-year old American center Montrezl Harrell (203-C-1994) had a very impressive game in the last week for league's best team Atleticos de San German and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 20.
He had a double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out Aguada (#3, 11-12) 90-88. It allowed Atleticos to consolidate first place in the Puerto Rican league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. San German has a very solid 16-9 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Harrell had a remarkable 92.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Atleticos, being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of Louisville graduate has very impressive stats this year. Harrell is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 9.8rpg) and averages solid 64.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last week was George Conditt IV (208-C-2000) of Gigantes de Carolina. He is international center in his first (recently joined) season at Carolina. In the last game Conditt IV recorded an impressive double-double of 22 points and 19 rebounds. It was enough for Gigantes to edge slightly higher-ranked Bayamon (#2, 16-10) by 1 point 94-93. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Group B. Carolina consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. His team's 14-10 record is not bad at all. Conditt IV is one of the most experienced players at Carolina and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-G-1991) of Leones de Ponce (#4). De Jesus scored 20 points and passed 9 assists. He was a key player of Leones, leading his team to a 101-78 easy win against #4 ranked Guaynabo. The chances of Ponce not to end season at such low position in Group A, however are less than slim as they have already lost 16 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, De Jesus could try to bring Ponce's a little bit higher in the standings. De Jesus has individually a great season in Puerto Rico. After 22 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.5ppg (9th best).
