Soriano is back at Aguada

Santeros de Aguada (BSN) agreed terms with 26-year old Dominican Rep. center Joel Soriano (211cm-118kg-2000, college: St.John's). It is actually his comeback to Santeros as he has played here before. He played last season at Ratiopharm Ulm in German BBL league. In 19 games he had 9.3ppg and 4.9rpg.
Soriano's career allowed him to visit three different continents. He tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America, and of course North America. Soriano has played professionally in Spain (Valencia and Zaragoza) and the NBA G League (Greensboro Swarm).
Among many awards, he played in the final of the Spanish League in 2025. He was voted the All-Big East Most Improved Player of the Year back in 2023 during his college time.
Soriano graduated from St. John's University in 2024 and it will be his third season as a professional player. He played for Fordham University for 2 years as well.
