Top ranked Atleticos (20-11) recorded its eleventh loss in San German on Thursday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Indios (11-18) 84-79. American point guard Eugene German (183-1997, college: NIU) fired 18 points and 5 assists for the winners. Australian guard Nathan Sobey (190-1990, college: Wyoming) chipped in 17 points. American guard Devon Daniels (196-1998, college: NC State, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Mayaguez maintains fifth place with 11-18 record, which they share with Manati. San German at the other side still keeps top position with 11 games lost. They share it with Bayamon. Mayaguez is looking forward to face higher ranked Aguada (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. San German will play against the league's second-placed Arecibo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Caguas. Second ranked Criollos faced 3rd placed Gigantes. Host Criollos (18-10) defeated guests from Carolina (16-13) 95-87. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Louis King (201-1999, college: Oregon) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Moses Brown contributed with 26 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Guard Jaylen Nowell (193-1999, college: Washington) answered with 26 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for Carolina. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Caguas maintains second place with 18-10 record having five points less than leader San German. Carolina lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with 13 games lost. Caguas will play against league's leader Bayamon on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Carolina will play against Santurce and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Santeros' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Carolina maintains third place with 16-13 record having six points less than leader San German which they share with defeated Aguada. Loser Santeros keeps the third position with 15 games lost. Carolina will meet Santurce (#4) on the road in the next round. Aguada will play against Mayaguez and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
