American Moses Brown (218-C-1999) had a very impressive game in the last week for league's second-best Criollos de Caguas and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 25.
The 26-year old center had a double-double of 26 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Carolina (#3, 16-13) 95-87. Criollos maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Puerto Rican BSN. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Caguas will need more victories to improve their 18-10 record. Brown just recently signed at Criollos, being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of California at Los Angeles graduate has very impressive stats this year. Brown is in league's top in points (6th best: 19.2ppg), assists (4th best: 0.7apg) and averages solid 1.9bpg and 63.6% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last week's games was another Caguas' star - young American forward Louis King (201-F-1999). King impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 33 points and 10 rebounds. Of course Criollos de Caguas cruised to a 95-87 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Carolina (#3, 16-13). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Group B. Criollos consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 18-10 record is not bad at all. King is one of the most experienced players at Criollos and similarly like Moses Brown has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last week was Brazilian Tim Soares (211-C-1997) of second-ranked Capitanes de Arecibo. Soares got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last week. He went also for ten rebounds and four assists. Despite Soares' great performance the Capitanes lost 93-100 to #1 ranked Bayamon. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Arecibo needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in the Group B. Their record is 15 victories and 12 lost games. Soares has a great season in Puerto Rico. After 18 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.9rpg (8th best).
