First Caribbean Blue Devils team overcame the Horsfords Lady Roots 49:35 to top the Natioanl Bank Female League standings. Leondra Cotton notched 15 points and 10 assists to lead the Blue Devils. Avril Mckoy added 8 points and 16 boards for the winners. The Blue Devils thus improved to 3-1 record. The Lady Roots have a polar result as they suffered their third defeat having won just one game. Tenelle Lapsey, a netball star, led the losing side with 14 points and 12 boards. Shuntelle Wilkinson provided 13 caroms in defeat.
In another game in the League the Lady Tuff Knotts snatched a 43:40 victory from the Lad Spartans. Gloria Esdaille led the charge with 22 points. Amanda French delivered 9 points, 7 boards, 2 steals and 2 assists for the winners. Talissa Browne answered with 8 points and 25 boards and 4 blocks for the Lady Spartans. Amy Guishard topscored for the Lady Spartans with 12 points.
